I am deeply sad to report that my wife miscarried the other day. It’s been a rough week as one might imagine. Yet, through the tragedy and tempting thoughts to question God, Cheryl and I have experienced tremendous blessing in the midst of our suffering.
For starters, we’ve grown so much closer through this. Words can’t really describe it… We’ve also seen God truly comfort us through His people, family members and of course the Holy Spirit. Though those fleeting thoughts of questioning God’s character come up in different forms, we are overwhelmed with a peace that surpasses understanding. That peace comes from the heart of Romans 8:28 - that “all things work for the good of those who love Him…” Through this somehow God will be glorified and our souls will benefit.
In the meantime, please keep us in your prayers.
